Install and repair electrical equipment and components on various stages of projects. Work involves installing, replacing, and maintaining electrical systems, apparatus, control panels, fixtures, equipment and other electrical components, to maintain electrical systems and to diagnose and repair operating problems of electrical components. Work under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Must make all terminations as required by project specifications in accordance to National Code. Assist in training of mechanics, apprentices and trainees.
•Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, circuits, and electrical components of electrical equipment, transformer wiring and distribution panels.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to electrical outlets, control panels, switches, fixtures and accessories.
•Isolate defects in wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches, sockets, and other elements, and replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
•Test equipment to identify and diagnose electrical and mechanical operating problems and repair or obtain proper technical assistance to repair equipment and return it to effective operating condition.
•Study manuals, brochures, articles and other documents to maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and of technological changes in products applicable to commercial/industrial electrical systems.
•Plan and organize assigned work projects and guides and monitors the work of semi-skilled employees.
•Train other employees in electrical procedures and methods and inspect their completed work to assure compliance with established standards and codes.

•Minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible experience in installing commercial or industrial electrical systems or equipment.
•All positions require you pass a drug test, background check and have reliable transportation.

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually very load.
